The State Games of America Ninja Challenge is a Ninja Warrior style obstacle competition

with obstacles similar to the show including a buzzer to hit if you should defeat the course.

Participants won’t know exactly what the course will be until the day of the event.

Just like the athletes on the show!

Schedule
  • 8AM-6PM - Adult and Youth will run simultaneously on two separate courses.
  • Start times will be announced closer to the event.
Pricing
  • Individual: $60
  • Team: $90 per team
  • Spectator fees are $10 each

AwardS
  • The top 3 Ohio Players in each category will receive an official Ohio Games medal in Gold (1st), Silver (2nd) or Bronze (3rd). They will also qualify to compete in the 2019 State Games of America. Players from outside Ohio can compete in this competition, but will not be eligible for medals. Athletes from States bordering Ohio can qualify for the State Games of America at this event. 
  • ​See the State Games of America for more information on your event. The State Games of America is held once every 2 years. Not all sports are offered each year; see the site for details. All medalists from any Ohio Games sport (past and present) are eligible to compete in the any State Games of America. You are not required to participate in the State Games of America. 
​Course Info
  • The State Games of America Ninja Challenge is a Ninja Warrior style obstacle competition with obstacles similar to the show including a buzzer to hit if you should defeat the course. Participants won’t know exactly what the course will be until the day of the event. Just like the athletes on the show!
  • The course is designed by American Ninja Warrior veteran athletes and the Ultimate Ninja Athlete Association for the best ninja experience possible.
  • Length of course will be up to 10 obstacles including warped walls (two wall heights for age groups). Course has a time limit of 3:30 minutes for completion, for all ages.
  • Once an obstacle has been attempted, one additional attempt may be taken. This “retry” may only be used once during an athlete’s course run. The athletes run will be completed upon failed obstacle or time expiration.
  • No chalk may be used on the course at any time.
  • Upon completion of the course, athlete must immediately depart course area in preparation for next athlete.
  • One person may be allowed on the sideline of the competitor while they are running the course, but in no way assisting the competitor or risk disqualification.
  • Competitors may not warm-up on the course on competition day, nor touch the course in any way or can risk disqualification.
  • The course will be available to try during the exhibition period July 29th to August 2nd, 2019 in public use time windows, for a small fee, as to not give an advantage over other competitors.
More Details
  • You must be 6 or older to compete in UNAA. Age is determined on how old they are on August 1, 2018 – (instead of November 1) since we already started season 4.
  • All athletes for the 2018-19 Season 4 shall compete in their appropriate class. Any athlete in the Age group classes may move up to the next age group if they so choose. Once they have moved up to that class, they must remain in that class for the duration of the year. Each course is age appropriate and if an athlete competes up – no accommodations will be made for height adjustments.
RULES
  • UNAA membership is NOT required to compete in State Games or State Games of America. By signing the Waiver this allows you to compete at State Games and State Games of America Ninja Challenge, Camp and Play and Train.
  • State Games of America is an official qualifier for Ninja OCR World Championships held in Moscow, Russia. The Winner of the Pro Men’s and Pro Women’s class each qualify to represent TEAM USA. The 2nd and 3rd place Pro Men and Pro Women will qualify as Alternates for TEAM USA.
  • UNAA is the Official Ninja league of USAOCR and World OCR /FISO which are the governing bodies for obstacle sports for meeting the requirements for the Olympics.​
