Qualify to the State Games of America, run a personal best, or just enjoy this scenic trail run. Walker and athletes of all abilities welcome. Celebrate after with Food, Drinks, Music, Finisher Medals, and more! Registration, Start/Finish Line & Post Race Party at Alum Creek State Park in Lewis Center, Ohio.

Anyone, from Any State Can Run in This Race!

We welcome all ages & abilities; you can walk, jog or race the event.

Any athlete, from any state or country can compete in any Ohio Games

sports and events. Only Ohio residents can become an Ohio Games State

Champion and qualify for the State Games of America. This means only

athletes from Ohio will be eligible for our race awards. See below for more details. 

Race Categories
  • 1.5-Mile Run/Walk
  • 5k Run/Walk
  • 10k Run/Walk
  • 9.3 Mile Run/Walk
  • Races will be hand timed by the qualified staff at Zoom Multisport Racing.
​SATURDAY SCHEDULE
  • 4:00pm-6:00pm: Packet Pick-up & Race Day Registration
  • 6:00pm: All Races Start
  • 8:00pm: Timing Ends - all racers from all races must have completed all courses
  • 8:30pm: Post Race Party Ends
  • Awards may be picked up at the registration table at the conclusion of each race.
Awards for OHIO RESIDENTS
  • First, Second and Third Male and Female in the following categories are Ohio Games State Champions and are eligible to represent Ohio in the State Games of America!
  • See the State Games of America for more information on your event. The State Games of America is held once every 2 years. Not all sports are offered each year; see the site for details. All medalists from any Ohio Games sport (past and present) are eligible to compete in the any State Games of America. You are not required to participate in the State Games of America. 
  • Runners from other states may compete but are not eligible for the above awards.​

​Course Maps
Race Course Turn-by-Turn Directions
  • All courses are out and back on the course. The course is a mix of path, grass, gravel, and paved roads. It is marked with signs, cones and chalk. If you do not see one of these proceed straight. There will be volunteers on the course for your safety. It is your duty to know the course. Should an emergency arise, alert a volunteer.
  • 1.5-Mile Course This is 1 lap out to the 0.75-mile mark and back.
  • 5k Course This is 1 lap (out to the 1.55-mile mark and back) on the 5k Course.
  • 10k Course: This is 2 laps on the 5k Course
  • 9.3 Mile Course: This is 3 laps on the 5k Course
  • ​Walkers and runners alike are welcome; all levels and abilities can do this race.
Aid Stations

There will be 3 aid stations on course with water, Gatorade Sport Drink and blocks. These will be at the .75-mile, 1.55-mile and the turnaround to the next lap

Parking

There is plenty of parking at the beachfront, which is next to registration and the start/finish line. 

We Recommend Against Strollers and Pets

Due to the nature of the course, we recommend against strollers and pets. They are not banned, but we recommend against bringing them. The course is a mix of gravel, grass, and paved path; this will present a challenge for most strollers.
